Egypt

Egypt has been the quintessential ‘must see’ exotic vacation of history lovers for over 200-years. It has the only remaining of the “Original Seven Wonders of the World’ and features abundant monuments from more than 2,000 years of habitation in the Nile Valley.

It’s a foreign land with the formidable weather of the Sahara Desert and chaos of Cairo. However, it’s still relatively safe to visit, but you need to be careful with land travel near the borders.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Egypt is between October and April, when temperatures are cooler, but still pleasantly warm across the country. This makes exploring the busy streets of Cairo, visiting the Pyramids in the desert, and exploring ancient Pharaonic tombs more comfortable and enjoyable.

Throughout Egypt, days are commonly warm or hot, and nights are cool. Egypt has only two seasons: a mild winter and a hot summer.

  • Winter: November – April
  • Summer: May – October
